For potential upside, real estate, Health care, Materials, consumer staples. For potential downside continuation, communication services.
BA seems to be showing strength, industrials overall also showing strength could be good move if upside continuation. Look to play if premarket high of 188 is taken out & holds. RIO in Materials sector has gap to fill, looks like strength in premarket, & overall sector showing strength as well. Utilities NEE for short, looks like slide in daily chart, overall sector in strong uptrend but looks like my be exhausting. Perhaps not best set of stocks to short, considering longer trend up. also premarket strength looks like it’s present in sector, though NEE itself looks weak.
7:32 am | Flat or with miniscule ($1>) loss on the day, but feeling frustrated. Seems like almost ever sector is choppy, had a good play on V, but a losing on BA. Tempted to keep trading to try and get back up, but this is what has led to disaster in the past. Should just walk away, and sum it up to chop day. If one, not even bad, day puts me in this much of a funk, how will I sustain when I have a string of them, which is likely inevitable. BA was wrong call, but feeling frustration stemmed in hope that NEE was right call even though I didn’t take it.
7:58 | Shorted Nee tiny size, but proportional to what I’ve been trading and made some profit back to put me at green for the day. Another massive source of frustration is the Technical Analysis I’d done on /ES coming to exact fruition. Once again, a wedge formed (this happened about a month ago, and I acted on it but didn’t take profit. Letting a 300% profitable trade at one point go to -50%, because I wanted 500% so I could show off to Dragon’s chat) and I didn’t capitalize on the play out. I could have played spy and caught the move, but I didn’t. Frustration, but the edge taken off because I’m now green on the day, at least. Will stop trading as soon as this NEE trade is closed. Have linked orders for the remaining 33% of the trade (1 share lmfao) looks like it could keep dumping to my price target of $77.2. Not sure I want to wait on it. Closed out. Done for the day. JPOW is speaking at 11am eastern I guess., Regardless. 11am seems to consistently the beginning of stagnation.
