  • Read | TAST (20 pgs)

Read TAST at Aviano in Cherry Creek.  During Flight to Phoenix Listening to On The Brink: Henry M. Paulson Jr. (Audiobook hours do not count).

Began to conceptualize volume & the relationship between volume & price in a more meaningful, significant way. Understanding the nature of patterns is just the repetition of similar behaviors of the murmur of market participants over time.

Pg. 155 | VOLUME. The principal lesson of this readthrough is the significance of volume and how to interpret it; what it’s really illustrating.
Pg. 156 | Flags and pennants, the actual shape is not so important as is the story of what is happening. Don’t fixate so much on the shape, but on the ‘consolidation’ the volume. Any sort of short consolidation on diminished volume followed by large increase in turnover is an indication of an underlying sentiment, and just happens to frequently take similar shape. The shape is not so important. The volume & the identification of consolidation is important.
